Water Repellent Products

YAPIYALIT WR is a ready to use water and humidity protection material with very high UV resistance for ali cement-based surfaces against damages of water.

Properties:

Application:

The surface must be dry and dean and it must be free from any contamination of oil and detergents. The surface defects have to be repaired by repair mortar before application. YAPIYALIT WR has to be mixed well before use. The application can be done in 2 coats. For deeper penetration, the first coat can be applied with 1:1 diluted YAPIYALIT WR. The second coat should be applied in its original concentration. 40-45 minutes has to be left between the coats. Final cure period is 24 hours.

Coverage:

A bin of YAPIYALIT WR is sufficient for the treatment of ~20sqm surface depending on the porosity of the surface, the application method and the temperature.

Package:

YAPIYALIT WR can be supplied in 3kg polyethylene bins in a cardboard box.(4 bins/box)

Caution

Storage
Use the whole bag at one time. Sealed packs can be stored at temperatures between –5 to 50oC for one year. Do not expose the packages to direct sun light for long periods.

Shelf Life
The shelf life is 2 years; under the advised storage conditions given below.

Health Concerns
Avoid inhaling the fine powder particles. Alkaline materials can seriously damage eyes therefore eye protection is strongly recommended. Alkaline materials are also harmful for skin therefore use of protective gloves are recommended. Keep away from children and animals.
